正面描述	The central vignette to the left presents Sungnyemun (Namdaemun), the historic South Gate of Seoul, rendered in an intaglio-style green vignette against a light ground with trees flanking the structure. To the right, an ornate guilloche rosette in green underprint carries the Bank of Korea seal in red at lower right, with Korean inscriptions and the denomination numeral 100 above. The note is framed by a fine green border with repeating foliate ornament, and the serial number appears in green letterpress below the central vignette.

备注	This series was printed by Thomas De La Rue during a period when the Bank of Korea had not yet developed domestic high-security printing capacity — a dependency that persisted well into the 1970s. The P#36 issue followed the 1962 currency reform that replaced the Hwan with the Won at a rate of 10:1, a redenomination driven by the military government's stabilization program after the May 1961 coup. Watermarking was the sole mechanical security measure, which reflects the technical ceiling of Korean note production at the time rather than any choice by De La Rue.
