Aanvullende informatie

Rwanda's National Bank issued a series of zodiac-themed collector coins in the late 2000s, largely aimed at the European and Asian bullion gift market rather than domestic circulation. These pieces were never intended to pass through Rwandan hands in trade — they were packaged for export from the moment of minting, produced under license by a European mint on behalf of the issuing authority.

The Sagittarius issue is one of twelve in the series. Gold-plated .999 silver of this diameter was a deliberate format choice to maximize shelf presence in collector packaging while keeping production costs below those of a solid gold piece.
