This note is part of a Ukrainian collectibles series — "Ukraine in Banknotes" — distinct from the National Bank of Ukraine's circulating issues. Printed on polymer substrate, it was produced as a souvenir or numismatic item rather than legal tender, which explains the denomination far exceeding any current circulating note in the hryvnia series.
The watermark on polymer is a structural curiosity: true watermarks require paper pulp variation, so what appears here is almost certainly a simulated optical effect achieved through the substrate's transparent window technology rather than conventional watermarking.
