| Reverse description | Richly engraved allegorical composition on a warm ochre guilloche underprint, with a large central oval cartouche bearing the bold numeral 1000 above the Cyrillic inscription КАРБОВАНЦІВ. Flanking the central cartouche are two full-length allegorical figures — a male figure in traditional Cossack attire holding a mace at left, and a female figure in classical robes carrying fruit and a cornucopia at right — both rendered in fine intaglio line work. At the apex, the Ukrainian trident (тризуб) state emblem is set within a circular medallion amid foliate scrollwork, while secondary denomination cartouches appear at the lower left and right corners. |
