A large circular guilloche rosette occupies the centre, with the denomination UNA MIE LEI in bold letterpress below, flanked by the GUVERNATOR and CASIER CENTRAL signature titles. The bank title BANCA NAȚIONALĂ A ROMÂNIEI appears in a panel across the top, with the issue date 10 Septembrie 1941 and anti-counterfeiting warning text printed at the foot.
