| 背面描述 | The reverse presents a highly detailed, frosted portrait of Karl Marx facing slightly left, rendered in high relief with exceptional engraving quality. Marx is depicted with his characteristic voluminous wavy hair and full beard, wearing a lapelled coat, his gaze directed forward. To the upper left of the field, his name 'KARL MARX' is inscribed in stylized Latin lettering, accompanied beneath by his name in traditional Mongolian script. The date '2019' appears in decorative numerals at the base of the portrait, set against the mirror-polished field. The serrated border, consistent with the obverse, frames the entire composition. |

Issued as part of Mongolia's ongoing commemorative program that has, since the early 2000s, produced silver pieces honoring figures with little obvious connection to Mongolian history. Marx was born in Trier in 1818; his association with Mongolia is purely ideological, a residue of the Mongolian People's Republic's decades under Soviet-aligned communist governance that ended only in 1990. The Mongolian central bank has since minted commemoratives for subjects ranging from dinosaur fossils to foreign statesmen, treating the format as a collector export product rather than domestic currency.
