| Obverse description | Central oval vignette at left contains a bust portrait of Kim Yuuk-shin in traditional official court attire with a gat hat, set within an ornate scrollwork frame. The denomination 千圓 (One Thousand Won) appears in large intaglio characters at centre-right, flanked by the bank seal and serial number in red.
