"Polar Dollars" is a private fantasy issue with no monetary authority, no issuing government, and no legal tender status anywhere. Global Numismatic Services LP produced these as collectibles — the denomination is invented, the currency name has no sovereign backing, and the series was marketed directly to collectors rather than entering any circulation system.
Polymer substrate and hologram inclusion give it the surface appearance of a modern banknote, but this is novelty printing, not currency.
