| Obverse description | Head of Zeus Ammon in right profile, depicted with the characteristic ram's horn curling behind the ear, rendered in low relief with schematic but recognizable features typical of late Ptolemaic bronze coinage. The portrait occupies the central field with no surrounding legend, consistent with the abbreviated iconographic programme employed on small fractional bronze issues. The flan is irregular and slightly off-centre, a common characteristic of hammered bronze denominations of this period. |
