| Obverse description | Convex, dome-shaped boss occupying the central field, characteristic of the Celtic Muschel (shell) type coinage. The raised oval elevation rises prominently from a slightly concave surrounding field, presenting a smooth, polished surface with no legend or subsidiary devices. The flan is irregular in outline, consistent with hand-struck Celtic gold fractional coinage of the Boii tribe. |

| Reverse description | Shallow incuse field presenting a stylised shell or sun motif, with a central raised nucleus from which multiple linear ribs radiate outward toward the irregular flan edge, dividing the incuse into segmented panels reminiscent of a cockle shell or scallop valve. Two small globules are visible in the lower portion of the field. The design is entirely anepigraphic and executed in the distinctive Celtic La Tène abstract style, with no legend or mint mark. |
