| 备注 |
Ghana's 1972 cedi series was introduced following the military coup of January 13th that year — the National Redemption Council under Acheampong moved quickly to replace the Busia government's currency as part of a broader assertion of control over financial institutions. The timing of this note's signature date, June 21, places it among the earliest issues under the reconstituted Bank of Ghana leadership.
J. J. Ansah and G. Nikoi signed as the first pairing on this series, a combination that appears only on the 1972-dated notes before later signature changes took the series into the late 1970s.
