Reverse description A royal crown is prominently displayed at the top of the field. Below, a wreath composed of oak and laurel branches, tied at the base with a ribbon, frames the denomination and date of issue in the central field. The Poissy mint privy mark appears to the left of the ribbon at the base of the wreath on coins struck at the Poissy facility. The overall design is restrained and heraldic in character, with the wreath and crown providing a formal monarchical framing for the numeric value.
