| Reverse description | A Wilson's storm petrel (Oceanites oceanicus) is depicted in full flight at centre, its wings spread wide, superimposed over a cartographic rendering of the Antarctic continent with latitude and longitude grid lines visible in the field. The scientific name 'OCEANITES OCEANICUS' arcs along the upper border, and 'WESTARCTICA TERRITORIES' curves along the lower rim, both in raised Latin lettering. The composition conveys a strong geographic and naturalistic theme characteristic of this fantasy issue series. |

| Additional information |
Westarctica is not a recognized state — it is a micronation claiming sovereignty over Marie Byrd Land, the largest unclaimed territory on Earth, based on a loophole in the 1959 Antarctic Treaty. The Grand Duchy began issuing fantasy coinage around 2001 primarily as a revenue mechanism, and these copper pieces circulated nowhere. Borradaile Island lies within the Hobbs Coast of Antarctica, named after a member of a mid-20th century U.S. geological survey.
