| Obverse description | A single-headed eagle displayed facing, with wings spread and slightly raised, stands upon a horizontal ground line occupying the central field. The denomination indicator 'Fr.' appears to the left of the eagle and the numeral '2' to the right, both rendered in the field at mid-height. Below the eagle, in the lower segment of the coin, the bilingual legend 'SHQIPNI' (Albanian for Albania) appears on the upper line and 'ALBANIA' on the lower line, separated from the central device by a plain exergual line. The design, engraved by Giuseppe Romagnoli, reflects the neoclassical Italian medallic tradition of the 1920s. |

| Reverse description | A nude male figure of athletic proportions strides purposefully to the left in the manner of a classical seed sower, his right arm extended forward scattering grain and his left hand grasping a seed bag at his side. The word 'PROVA' (Italian for trial) is inscribed in the upper right field, while the date '1926' appears in the lower right field. The mint mark 'R' for the Rome Mint is placed at the bottom centre below the figure, and the engravers' signatures 'G. ROMAGNOLI' and 'A. MOTTI INC.' are incused in small lettering at the lower left of the field. The powerful neoclassical figural composition is rendered in high relief with fine musculature detail. |
