| Obverse description | Letterpress-printed entirely in red on cream paper, the obverse bears a framed heading panel inscribed 'Gutschein der Gemeinde Steinakirchen am Forst' at top, beneath which a large decorative Gothic-script vignette reads 'Zwei Heller' at centre-left, with the numeral '2' enclosed in a dotted square cartouche at upper right. A four-line Gothic-script liability text below the vignette affirms the municipality's obligation to redeem the note in lawful currency and states that counterfeiting is punishable by law. Three manuscript signatures appear at the base above the printed designation 'Bürgermeister' and the name 'E. Treibel, Steuer.' |

| Reverse description | Letterpress-printed in dark brown on cream paper, the reverse is arranged symmetrically around the circular municipal seal of Steinakirchen am Forst at centre, which shows a fortified gate flanked by two towers and carries the legend 'GEMEINDE STEINAKIRCHEN AM FORST' around its circumference. The denomination 'Zwei Heller' in Gothic script, each instance accompanied by the numeral '2' in corner squares, flanks the seal on both left and right. A text band at top declares the total issuance volume of 14,100 Kronen, while a lower band confirms redemption at the municipal office until 31 March 1922. |
