| Obverse description | A large Crown of Christian V is centered above a solid inner ring surrounding the central hole, with the royal cypher 'M II R' (Margrethe II Regina) appearing below. The date '1984' is divided to either side of the crown and ring, flanked by two heart devices. The word 'PRØVE' (meaning 'pattern' or 'trial') appears in incuse lettering to the left of the central design. The entire composition is enclosed within a solid beaded inner ring and a raised rim ring. |
