Obverse description Central field displays the soyombo symbol — a complex national emblem comprising a flame, sun, crescent, and yin-yang (taijitu) element framed within a geometric cartouche — all rendered in high relief against a plain field. Vertical Mongolian script legends flank the central device on both left and right sides, reading the name of the issuing state. A toothed border runs along the full inner circumference of the reeded edge, framing the design. The year of issue appears inscribed in traditional Mongolian numerals at the base of the central device.
