Obverse description Central field features the Pakistani state emblem comprising a crescent moon and five-pointed star above an elaborate tughra (calligraphic royal cipher) in Arabic script. The tughra occupies the lower centre of the coin in ornate relief. The date in Western Arabic numerals appears at the bottom of the field below the tughra. A circular legend in Bengali script reading 'পাকিস্তান সরকার' (Government of Pakistan) runs along the inner periphery of the scalloped border.
