The denomination DOS PESOS is printed in bold letterpress at the top, followed by the handwritten issue date Junio 9 de 1823 and a manuscript serial number. The promise-to-pay text in Spanish reads PROMETE pagar a la vista y al Portador una onza de oro sellado por diez y siete pesos en estos Villetes, with two manuscript signatures and a paraph at the lower portion. |
