Obverse description Central oval vignette with a bust portrait of Camilo Torres, framed by fine guilloche work on both sides incorporating the numeral 2. The upper border carries the issuer inscription, with 'BOGOTA, COLOMBIA' at lower left and the date at lower right; two signature lines at bottom are designated 'GERENTE' and 'SECRETARIO', with the denomination 'DOS PESOS ORO' in a panel along the lower edge.
Obverse lettering El Banco de la República Pagará al Portador Dos Pesos Oro
(Translation: The Bank of the Republic will Pay to the Bearer Two Pesos Oro)
Reverse description A standing Liberty figure occupies the central vignette within a circular guilloche frame, flanked on each side by large ornate numeral 2 medallions interlaced with scrollwork. A circular legend surrounds the central motif, with the denomination 'DOS PESOS ORO' in a panel at the foot of the note and the printer's imprint 'AMERICAN BANK NOTE COMPANY' in small text at the base.
