| Obverse description | Central device composed of the Honduran provisional coat of arms enclosed within a beaded inner circle: a pyramid surmounted by a radiant sun, framed by an arch and flanked by two castle towers, all set above waves. The shield is supported on either side by fruiting branches, with a cap of liberty atop a decorative crest at the summit. The circular legend reads MONEDA PROVISIONAL DEL ESTADO DE HONDURAS, separated by a floral ornament, running between the inner beaded circle and the milled outer border. |
