| Reverse description | Central field displays the denomination inscription DOS REALES in two lines, with the date of issue below, all enclosed within a full laurel and oak wreath of broad, deeply detailed leaves tied at the base with a ribbon bow. A small rosette or ornament appears at the apex of the wreath in certain varieties (CJ#23), while others (CJ#24) omit this element. The direction of the wreath's spiral also varies by variety — counterclockwise or clockwise — constituting the principal distinguishing features among the catalogued types. The flat field and bold serif lettering are characteristic of the Buenos Aires provincial copper issues of this period. |
