| Beschrijving keerzijde | A bare-headed portrait bust of Kwame Nkrumah, first President and founder of Ghana, faces right in high relief, with fine curly hair rendered in detailed engraving by Paul Vincze. Two five-pointed stars flank the lower portion of the bust at the left and right of the field. The Latin legend 'CIVITATIS GHANIENSIS CONDITOR' arcs around the upper periphery, and 'KWAME NKRUMAH' curves along the lower periphery between the flanking stars. The engraver's initials 'P.V.' appear on the truncation of the bust, and the whole design is enclosed within a beaded border. |
