San Marino has no central bank and issues no official banknotes for circulation — this is almost certainly a philatelic or souvenir item, part of the steady stream of commemorative paper produced for the collector market under official Sammarinese sanction. The republic's monetary needs are met entirely by the euro under its agreement with the EU, despite never having formally joined the union.
The "Cesta" in the title refers to the second of San Marino's three towers on Monte Titano, a UNESCO-listed site since 2008.
