The central zone incorporates a vertical security thread marked BBC / BRC and a watermark window, while the right half transitions to a pale blue-grey ground bearing a stylised aerial view of the pre-Hispanic hydraulic canal system of the Zenú people and a Zenú gold ear ornament (orejera) rendered as a colour-shifting OVI rosette.
