Reverse description The denomination 20 CENT. appears in two lines at the centre of the field, enclosed within a wreath composed of oak and laurel branches tied at the base with a ribbon bow; the mint mark A appears at the lower centre within the wreath. The circular legend INDO-CHINE FRANCAISE arcs around the upper periphery, while the lower arc bears the specifications TITRE 0,835. POIDS 5GR.4, denoting the silver fineness and weight. A counterstamp punch altering the fineness figure to 0,632 has been applied to the left inner field, indicating this is a pattern piece with modified purity. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border.
