| Reverse description | Printed entirely in blue, the reverse is dominated by a central vignette of the Barclays Bank (Canada) head office building in Montreal, rendered in fine intaglio engraving and set within an ornate cartouche. Large guilloche rosettes bearing the numeral "20" occupy the left and right panels, while repeating "20" micro-numerals form the upper border. The foot of the note carries the inscription "20 TWENTY DOLLARS 20" and the printer's imprint along the lower margin. |
