Obverse description At right, an intaglio portrait of King George VI within an oval frame; at centre-left, a vignette of an unrolled map scroll of the Caribbean islands set against tropical foliage with palm trees and a coastal scene. The heading 'THE BRITISH CARIBBEAN TERRITORIES EASTERN GROUP' runs across the top, with 'TWENTY DOLLARS' in large lettering across the centre above the legend 'FOR THE CURRENCY BOARD', and three facsimile signature lines for Member, Chairman, and Member below.
