表面の説明 The obverse is executed in blue and teal tones, with a fine guilloche underprint incorporating traditional Fijian geometric motifs across the centre. A vignette of Queen Elizabeth II in three-quarter portrait occupies the right half, rendered in intaglio, with the Fijian coat of arms to the upper right alongside the legend "Kerevaka-na-kalou-ka-doka-na-Tu". To the left, a stylised carved Fijian artifact labelled "Foa" appears in the lower corner, while a holographic stripe carrying repeating "RBF" lettering runs along the right margin. The denomination "TWENTY DOLLARS" is set in bold letterpress at centre, beneath the inscription "This Note is Legal Tender in Fiji for", with the Governor's facsimile signature and title "GOVERNOR RESERVE BANK OF FIJI" below.

裏面の説明 The reverse, printed in blue, olive, and ochre tones over a fine microprint guilloche background, carries a composite vignette illustrating Fijian industry and geography: a logging scene with workers stacking timber occupies the left, transitioning to a central image of miners operating equipment in an underground setting, while a locomotive before the volcanic peak of Mt. Uluinabukelevu is rendered in the upper right. A decorative horseshoe-shaped Fijian emblem appears to the right of centre, and a latent-image "RESERVE BANK OF FIJI" stamp box is positioned at the lower right corner. The printer's imprint "DE LA RUE" appears at the lower left, with "FIJI" in bold at top and "TWENTY DOLLARS" in a deep blue band along the base.

Fiji's 2007 note series arrived during a particularly unstable period: the December 2006 military coup led by Frank Bainimarama had just removed Laisenia Qarase's elected government. The Reserve Bank continued issuing currency without interruption, and these notes entered circulation under an administration that would govern by decree for the next eight years — a fact that sits quietly behind their entirely routine appearance.

De La Rue's production for Fiji has been consistent across multiple decades and series. The hologram strip on this issue is among the more robust security upgrades applied to Pacific island currencies of this generation, reflecting pressure from regional central banks to address counterfeiting concerns that had affected earlier lower-denomination notes.
