| 背面描述 | The central vignette illustrates a traditional yum cha (tea gathering) scene in which a young child pours tea for elder family members, evoking intergenerational bonds within Cantonese culture. The HSBC logo and the bank's full bilingual name are printed at upper right, with the denomination numeral 20 rendered in contrasting ink. A multicolour guilloche underprint frames the composition throughout. |

| 备注 |
HSBC's position as one of three note-issuing banks in Hong Kong is a legacy of the colonial banking framework that survived the 1997 handover intact — an arrangement unique among major financial centers. The 2018 series was the first complete redesign HSBC had undertaken in over a decade, introducing updated security architecture as Hong Kong's HKMA pushed all three issuing banks toward a common modernization schedule.
Thomas De La Rue has printed HSBC's Hong Kong notes for well over a century, a relationship that has outlasted empires, occupations, and currency crises.
