| 正面描述 | Central field features a stylized bird rendered in high relief, its plumage depicted with finely detailed scale-like feathering. A crescent moon motif appears in the upper right, while a curved arc of twelve five-pointed stars sweeps along the left side of the design, evoking the European Union symbolism. The legend SVERIGE 20 EURO arcs along the upper rim, with the date 1998 positioned to the right in the field. |

Anders Zorn died in 1920, and this issue marks the 75th anniversary of his death — though Zorn's international reputation rested less on Swedish patronage than on his American portrait commissions, including three sitting U.S. presidents: Grover Cleveland, William Howard Taft, and Theodore Roosevelt. The Swedish commemorative program in the late 1990s leaned heavily on cultural figures, and Zorn was an obvious candidate.
The .925 standard used here was Sweden's consistent choice for commemoratives of this period, struck at the Royal Mint in Eskilstuna before its privatization in 2001.
