| Opis awersu | Printed in shades of blue on watermarked paper, the obverse carries two labour vignettes within a finely engraved guilloche border: at left, a worker alongside an artillery cannon, and at right, a group of labourers at rest in a riverside landscape. The central denomination panel bears the large numeral '20 FR' surmounted by 'VINGT FRANCS', with corner numerals '20' at each angle, while the lower margin carries the bold letterpress inscription 'GRAND-DUCHÉ DE LUXEMBOURG' beneath two facsimile signature panels and the date 'LUXEMBOURG LE 1 OCTOBRE 1929'. The printer's imprint 'JOH. ENSCHEDE EN ZONEN IMP. P. BLANC FEC' appears in the lower margin. |
