| 备注 |
Cegléd's municipal treasury issued this 20 korona note during the chaotic interlude of 1919, when the collapse of Austria-Hungary left Hungarian towns briefly managing their own emergency currency. These locally-produced szükségpénz — necessity money — filled the vacuum left by the disappearance of reliable coin and the inadequacy of central bank supply during simultaneous political crises: the short-lived Hungarian Soviet Republic and its violent aftermath.
Printed locally, the note was never intended to travel far. Municipal issues from this period were typically redeemed quickly or simply abandoned once central authority reasserted itself, which accounts for their relative scarcity in circulated grades today.
