| Obverse description | A large imperial-style crown occupies the central field, rendered in fine detail with arched bands, ermine-lined base, and an orb surmounting the apex. The Greek legend ΚΡΗΤΙΚΗ ΠΟΛΙΤΕΙΑ (State of Crete) curves along the upper periphery, while the engraver's signature A. BORREL appears beneath the crown's base band. The date 1900 is inscribed in large numerals at the lower field. The entire design is encircled by a beaded border. |
