Obverse description Black intaglio print on multicolor guilloche underprint with red serial numbers. At left, a vignette portrait of Josefa Ortiz de Domínguez in period dress faces the center of the note. The design is framed with fine lathe-work borders characteristic of American Bank Note Company production.
