Obverse description Treasury Emergency Currency Certificate issued by authority of the President of the Commonwealth of the Philippines, with the large central denomination text TWENTY PESOS in bold letterpress. The note bears serial numbers at left and right, with printed text certifying redemption at face value upon termination of emergency, payable to the bearer on demand in lawful currency of the Philippines. Three signature lines appear at the bottom, attributed to the Provincial Treasurer, Deputy Auditor Chairman, and Provincial Fiscal Member.
