The large denomination legend 'Twenty Pesos' is set in bold serif type at centre, beneath which a payability clause reads 'Payable to the bearer on demand in silver pesos or in legal tender currency of the Philippines.' A circular green 'Approved' Commonwealth of the Philippines seal is affixed to the right, and three signature lines at the foot identify the Acting Treasurer, Governor (Chairman), and Provincial Auditor, with 'SERIES OF 1944' at upper right. |
