| Obverse description | The obverse is laid out in a predominantly grey-green colour scheme, with an elaborate oval guilloche panel at the centre bearing Ottoman Turkish text including the denomination. A circular vignette to the left carries the Western numeral '200' with the abbreviation 'Ps', while a matching ornate roundel to the right repeats the numeral in Arabic script. The imperial tughra appears at the top centre within a cartouche, serial numbers are printed in the upper corners, and a French inscription 'Remboursable à SMYRNE.' is set within a panel at the lower left. A large 'ANNULLÉ' cancellation overprint is applied diagonally across the face. |
