Opmerkingen

The "light panel" designation distinguishes this issue from the visually similar earlier 200 Rial notes — the difference lies in the tonal weight of a security panel on the reverse, a subtle printing variation that Harrison & Sons introduced during the run and that collectors use to separate the two types. Amouzegar held the Finance Ministry post continuously across all three signature combinations, giving this series unusual ministerial stability for its duration.

Farmanfarmaian's tenure as Bank Markazi governor was cut short by political friction with the Shah's court — his signature pair is consequently the scarcest of the three.
