| Description de l’avers | The obverse is dominated by teal guilloche border bands at top and bottom bearing the numeral 2000, with the bank title in Arabic script along the upper band. At centre-left, a large circular watermark window is surrounded by a pale multicolour underprint; a yellow EURion constellation security element appears at the far left margin. To the right, an elaborate intaglio panel displays an ornate geometric vignette with interlaced Islamic arabesque motifs in blue and red, enclosing the denomination numeral in a central medallion. Two signature facsimiles appear at lower left, and the Arabic denomination legend ألفا أوقية is printed in bold intaglio script across the lower centre. |
