The composition is structured as a series of concentric, receding square palace enclosures with four prominent axial gateways, each adorned with intricate architectural ornamentation, guardian figures, and symbolic motifs rendered in remarkable sculptural depth. The outermost border of the coin is encircled by bands of Tibetan script and ornamental scrollwork interspersed with Dharma wheel (dharmachakra) symbols. The legend 'KALACHAKRA' arcs across the upper border and 'MANDALA' across the lower border in Latin capitals, with the date '20 19' divided at the left and right margins respectively.
