| Obverse description | The coat of arms of the Principality of Sealand occupies the central field, featuring a divided shield supported on the dexter by a crowned sea-lion and on the sinister by a crowned sea-horse, both rendered in high relief. Above the shield rises a plumed helm with mantling. A ribbon below the shield bears the motto E MARE LIBERTAS. Two scallop shells flank the composition in the lower field.
