Obverse description The quartered coat of arms of Andorra occupies the central field, displaying the episcopal mitre and crosier of the Bishop of Urgell in the upper-left quarter, the vertical pales of the County of Foix in the upper-right and lower-left quarters, and two bulls passant representing the County of Bearn in the lower-right quarter. The shield is surmounted by an ornate baroque cartouche and flanked by decorative scrollwork, with the date 1960 divided to either side of the shield. The motto VIRTVS VNITA FORTIOR curves along the base of the shield, while the legend ANDORRA arcs across the upper periphery and the denomination 25 DINERS 25 appears along the lower border, all within a beaded rim.
