| Beschrijving keerzijde | The large numeral '25' dominates the central field in bold relief, with the Arabic denomination 'درهماً' (Dirhams) inscribed immediately below. Encircling the upper portion of the coin is the English legend 'TWENTY FIVE DIRHAMS', while 'State of Qatar' arcs along the lower periphery, all separated by decorative scroll motifs. The composition is clean and typographic, with the bilingual inscriptions providing a balanced, formal presentation of the denomination. |

Qatar's dirham coinage has remained deliberately stable since the currency was decoupled from the UAE dirham in 1973, and the Central Bank has issued remarkably few design changes across decades. This series, introduced following the 2014–2016 oil price collapse that cut Qatar's hydrocarbon revenues by roughly half, maintained the existing coinage architecture rather than signaling any monetary disruption — a calculated display of institutional steadiness during a period when neighboring Gulf states were openly debating currency devaluation.
