| Obverse description | The national coat of arms of Mali occupies the central field, depicting a stylized rising sun at the base, two crossed bows and arrows, and a representation of the Great Mosque of Djenné above, all enclosed within a circular border. A vulture with outstretched wings is positioned at the top of the arms. The denomination FRS. 25 appears in the lower central field.
