| 正面描述 | Brown intaglio print on orange paper, with an elaborate guilloche border framing the central text area. The denomination numeral "25" appears in a large ornate cartouche at the left, flanked by intricate arabesque corner pieces with the bank monogram "NBA"; two solid five-pointed star perforations are punched centrally left and right as a cancellation device. The issuer's name arches across the top of the central panel above the bearer clause and denomination in large letterpress text, with the date "Amsterdam, 1 October 1914" and signature lines for the Secretary and President printed below. |

| 备注 |
De Nederlandsche Bank began issuing "spaarbiljetten" — spare notes — as a contingency measure at the outbreak of the First World War, when the suspension of the gold standard and a sudden public rush on bank reserves created an acute shortage of circulating currency. The 25 Gulden denomination was among the first produced under emergency authorization in August 1914, printed domestically by De Bussy rather than through the bank's usual suppliers.
The perforation cancellation found on surviving examples typically indicates redemption rather than fraud prevention — cancelled spares returned through official channels were routinely punched before archiving.
