| Obverse description | At centre, an oval vignette contains a standing armed resistance fighter flanked by a burning house with ruins at left and a group of seated farmers at right, rendered in dark intaglio-style print. The large denomination numeral '25' appears in both left and right margins, while a bold guilloche band above the vignette bears the Greek legend 'ΠΟΛΙΤΙΚΗ ΕΠΙΤΡΟΠΗ ΕΘΝΙΚΗΣ ΑΠΕΛΕΥΘΕΡΩΣΕΩΣ' and below it 'ΕΘΝΙΚΟ ΟΜΟΛΟΓΟ ΑΠΕΛΕΥΘΕΡΩΤΙΚΟΥ ΑΓΩΝΑ'.
