| Obverse description | Central field features the Syrian Eagle of Saladin displayed with wings spread, head turned to the right, the breast bearing a shield charged with two five-pointed stars. The eagle's talons grasp a scroll inscribed in Arabic, and the base of the device is flanked by olive and laurel branches. A fine beaded border encircles the entire design, with no additional legend on this face. |

| Reverse description | The reverse presents an ornate geometric and floral square frame with radiating sunburst lines emanating from a central medallion, within which the denomination '٢٥' (25) in Eastern Arabic numerals is inscribed above the word 'قرشا' (Piastres). The square frame is embellished with arabesque foliate ornaments at its corners and sides. Flanking the central square are two upright olive branches. Along the lower periphery, within a beaded border, appears the dual date inscription '١٣٦٦ - ١٩٤٧' denoting the Hijri and Gregorian years respectively. |
