| Obverse description | Brown uniface cheque-style note issued by the Erivan Branch of the State Bank of the Republic of Armenia, with text printed entirely in Cyrillic script. The upper portion carries the branch and bank name in bold letterpress, below which appears the special government treasury account designation, series, number, and denomination of 25 Roubles; the date 'Эривань, Августъ 1919 г.' is printed in the central field. A text block states that the bearer is entitled to receive twenty-five roubles from the Erivan Branch of the State Bank, with two manuscript signatures of the Minister-Chairman and the Managing Minister of Finance at the bottom, above a legal tender declaration. |
