| Anmerkungen |
The 1983 Seychelles 25 Rupees (P#29) was printed by American Banknote Corporation, which by that point was handling a substantial portion of its Commonwealth and island-nation contracts through its facilities in the United States. The Central Bank of Seychelles had only been established in 1978, following independence from Britain in 1976, and the early note series reflected the institution's need for reliable overseas printing partners before any domestic capacity existed.
Watermark security alone was modest by the standards already common at the time — many contemporary issues from comparable issuers carried security threads as well. Worth noting for any serious examination of the series.
